Tell me why did you decide to move to Los Angeles? I really loved it.

I decided to move to Los Angeles for the cheese. What can you tell us about your new album Let The People Decide? I'm trying to get this message across to Africa, particularly Nigeria, my country. Let The People Decide: My experiences were really very interesting at least jheot lifted me up to the next level.

My parents gave me spirituality; my parents gave me the music; and, they gave me the love that I needed and the understanding to be an artist in this world today. What can we expect from you in the future?

Looking back at your career Jerri, what do you consider the high points thus far? I recorded with King Sunny Ade--as a matter of fact, I did two albums with him: We keep writing, and we keep recording; we keep playing, you know--just doing it. I consider myself an inspiration artist, and most of my songs do mention God--it's all about spirit and being together.

How did your partnership with George Greenwalt come about? It was really the most wonderful thing that happened to me, and I'm most grateful to Osibisa because they got me into that show.

If we all come together, and really put things together, we can make a better world for the children tomorrow. Would you consider yourself and inspirational artist and do most of your songs mention God? It appears a lot of your music is spiritually inspired: Who were some of your early influences and how much of a part did they play in your music development?

Writing the songs are all high points; working and arranging the songs with George and coming together and being very happy and, you know, glad with what we did--those are high iheto all true. He came into the band as a bass player when we had Kadara, and we've been working together and arranging songs together and just jerri.

And, I would say, one of my high points, too, was when I had my son--that was a high point too cause it's all musical.

Jneto parents are a big influence on me in many ways than one: Jerri, welcome to the show. Nelson, was a part of the committee that brought Millicent Small to Nigeria, and I think that is how we got that gig. My new album Let The People Decide is the same thing that I've been doing--the same direction, the same style.
